Where will assessment and treatment sessions take place?
All sessions take place within your home environment unless previously agreed with your child's school for assessment and treatment there.
How frequent are therapy sessions?
Weekly sessions are recommended for continuity and carry over of skills and learning during a treatment block. However, this is not always possible for a number of reasons and fortnightly and monthly sessions can be arranged more flexibly.
Can we speak with someone before committing?
Yes! We encourage a free 15 minute phone call prior to booking an assessment, in order to answer any questions and to check that Wild Child Occupational Therapy can offer you the service you are hoping for.
How much does it cost?
Initial assessments are charged at £350.
A £50 deposit will be taken at the time of booking. The remainder of the invoice must be paid prior to the report being released.
Therapy sessions are charged at £100 per hour.
Travel will be charged separately and advised prior the first appointment and will depend on distances to be covered.
What is your cancellation policy?
Whilst we appreciate and empathise that plans can change unexpectedly, as a small business we mush operate a cancellation policy. Cancellation 24 hours or less before the appointment time will be charged at the full rate. Requests to reschedule with more than 24 hours notice will be accommodated where possible on a maximum of 2 occasions in every treatment block.
Are you registered?
Yes, I am a registered with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and HCPC. Registration numbers are available on request.
Are you DBS checked?
Yes, I hold a valid, enhanced DBS certificate.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, I have indemnity insurance through the Royal College of Occupational Therapy registration.
